Hi fellow bikers.need some advice on slight vibration I've noticed in my roadking lately.had for sevice recently.all oils everything checked.belt tension done.only thing I put on is new back tire.think a little vib in my feet and bum.hvnt been on for while spence service.rode twice lately and seemed a little different.anyone out there hv any thoughts.my dealer Is 3.5 hours away😳
Try to narrow it down. Speed related only? Or...does it seem to match engine RPM? Meaning...comes and goes as you shift, and change engine speeds.
Often the lower front engine mount...the rubber shim goes. When happens..yeah you'll get a wicked vibe that travels up your legs and makes your teeth feel like they'll shatter. Had that happen on my '06 years ago. Plenty of threads around here on the forums about that forward lower engine mount, and how to "shim it" for quick repairs.
And I'm familiar with normal vibrations on a Harley...for those that just say "It's a Harley V-Twin...get used to it!" There's normal Harley rumble/vibration, and then there's insane vibration if that forward lower engine mount goes. I rode a Shovelhead for years...I know what heavy normal vibration is.
So...can you narrow it down to road speed...versus engine speed?
When you said slight vibration and new tire, that made me think that it COULD BE a little unbalanced. Get some Ride On and put it in your tire. It'll balance it out.

Have to agree.
If it didn't have that vibration before you had a new tire installed then there is the place to start looking for your problem.
