Of course it started up...you got it towed home.

I had a new car do that years ago. I'd tell the shop to do the "find comb" gimmick on it.

Bummer. I had something similar happen on my fxr when it had only 1,200 miles on it. I'm riding down the Pacific Coast Highway and all is fine. And then suddenly everything cuts out. Turned out to be a frayed wire on a new bike. Hope this never happens to you again.

And they always seem to run perfect once they hit the inside of a shop too!! Just my luck with vehicles.

That's a possibility. Did have the cable off not too long ago. Had no screwdriver to check(lesson learned on that).
