Ha. I hear ya. I have a pair of full finger summer gloves that have a mesh on the sides of the fingers and the back. I have little spots that look like uniform freckels.
fingerless gloves are ok if you dont mind a suntan only on your fingers.. and if you have that open spot on the top of the glove(top of your hand) you will get a suntan/burn there as well.. looks wierd
hahaha
Man is that the truth, I am so tired of people asking me what I did to the top of my hand lol!
I wear gloves for the PROTECTION they afford if **** goes bad. Fingerless gloves just do not make alot of sense to me, although they are very popular with many folks. I have a pair of deerskin full finger gloves which are perforated for hot weather riding. Deerskin is much thinner than cowhide, and it's also tougher.
G'day Folks,
I'm looking for fingerless gloves in a tan color. All I see is black. Trying to loose the thug look. Anybody know where I can find these?
Thanks,
I gotmy last pair of black, fingerless glovers at Sturgis in about 2000. The dye turned my hands black from the sweat on warm days. When they finally wore out, I too was looking for tan leather fingerless gloves.
I've been buyingtan leather work gloves from Cosco for my winter riding and yard work, three pairs for about $20. These gloves have a padded palm area, are very comfortable, and hold up well.
Last summer whenI could not find tan fingerless gloves to replace the black ones from Sturgis, I cut off the finger tips from a pair of the Cosco gloves, sewed the seams, and now have the best pair of light-weight, fingerless riding gloves that I've owned.
