Just added my SE heavy breather and python slip ons....what setting do u guys recommend me putting it on I had it at around 75% rode for an hour and the pipes were charcoal black!!!! Should I lower down to the 50s 25s %???? Thank guys
I have my set to 75% with the same breather, no cat and debaffled pipes. Feels good to me with no popping. Set it to 50% and ride it and see what you think. 50% was to lean for mine with poor acceleration and some developed pop.
OK I'll go ahead and set it to that setting. 75 was to lean for me so hopefully 50 is good. I'm running pythons with comp baffles. Minimal popping. But it's there. I'll get back with feedback. Thank man
My bad I meant to say I'm burning to much. So that means I gotta lower the setting right??....my bad I'm new to the vied tuner still trying to figure out my sweet spot.....and last thing I want is overheating and burning to much fuel

Thought that's what you meant.

Finding the "sweet spot" can be difficult to impossible with these devices as they tend to add fuel across all cells. Some cells may benefit from LESS fuel. And since there are a few hundred cells in the entire rpm/kpa range, finding the correct setting for all of them is not possible without adjusting the fuel accordingly.
FWIW, fueling is but one variable when it comes to overheating and fuel consumption. It is possible to have the correct amount of fuel at a given setting and still have overheating or excessive fuel burning.
Having had adjustable Vieds on my last 3 bikes,I found it was better to start at 25% setting and work your way up.Remember running a catless header pipe pipe tricks the O2 sensors into thinking a leaner condition thus this adds more fuel to the engine. This is not my theory but based on actual facts.Call NightRider about recommended settings for your setup.
i've ran mine all over the place when i first brought them. after alot of trail and error i ran them at 50% on my streetglide and now at 25% on my trike. if you are still running a cat you can set them alittle higher, no cat you need to run them at a much lower setting do to reverstion in the exhaust.
