Cool Houston area led lighting for bike

Anyone know where I can get my led under bike lighting repaired in the Houston / Humble / Woodlands area? I looked in yellow pages with no luck.

Recommendations,

SD

It's a pretty simple task to put led's on a bike. If you spent more than an hour on it I'd be surprised. Check YouTube out and just follow the old wiring and replace.

Or wait till the lonestar rally this fall and head down to get it done there.

I need repair work done on the LED system that is in place. I accidentally split a wire that leads to one part of the lighting and now the entire thing does not work. I have spliced with a wire nut but it still does not work. I am thinking it has to be soldered and shrink wrapped in order to work. I can wait to Lone Star Rally as I rarely use the LED's but it is on the bike and I would like it to operate properly. Thanks, did not think about the rally options.

I haven't lived in that area in several years, but when I lived in Humble, there was a good indie shop just north of the river at POP's Ice House.......Not even sure if it's still there, but you can check.

It's very simple wiring. If it's single color led's, then there is only 2 wires, Positive, and negative. Positive wire will be fused, and have a switch. Negative will go to chassis ground, or negative terminal on your battery.

If they are RGB led's,(color changing)there will be 3 or 4 wires. 2 of which will be positive, and negative.

Simply put, go buy or make a cheap test light. Check first that your negative(ground) is connected. Now, take your test light and follow your positive wire from the battery, to the fuse, and through the switch. Where it doesn't light up is your problem.

If you need them repaired, go to most any crotch rocket shop...I see a lot of those bikes lit up like Christmas trees.
