Doubt it will go anywhere, Harley makes it quite clear in their advertising that it's for off road racing use only. They can not control what the end user does with it. It would be different if Harley touted it as a beat the emissions product.
Um it just did... Harley has agreed to stop selling "emissions defeat devices", pay a $12 million settlement AND "buy back and destroy aftermarket engine tuners that the U.S. called emissions-control defeat devices"
In the spirit of the VW Diesel debacle..............Drill down enough and you'll find that there are do-gooders who hack into vehicle ECU's to verify that they're compliant with emissions standards. That's how the VW issue came to light.
I wonder if they target motorcycle tuners, and if so, who's next? The good folks at Power Commander might want to dust off their resumes.
I expect that all of you out there running performance enhancers on your bikes, and not using them for competition only, will dutifully remove the enhancers and destroy them.
