Default Sportster kickstand too short now

I just put new front progressive springs and 13.5 412's in the back. Now the bike really leans over far. Does anyone know where to get a straighter kickstand that will bring it back up like original. Thanks

It's an 2005 1200 custom. I have the Harley saddle bags and travel bag on the luggage rack. Thunder headers, stage 1. My girlfriend almost always on back so I got the Heavy duty 412's 13.5 length. Also did the progressive front springs. Rides fantastic now just leans way over on the stand.

Measure in 2.5 inches from the flat bottom part. Heat red hot, and turn it down an inch at most. If that dosent work you may need a new kickstand cause yours will be pretty bent. No joke an ironhead I had was like that.

I did read somewhere that someone who made the same progressive changes said you'll need to get a new kickstand. I contacted Harley they didn't have an answer. I'll try what you suggested but would also like to know if anyone knows of an aftermarket kickstand for sports that might make the bike stand up straighter. Possibly even shorter but not so much of an angle .Thanks yamaharley. That's funny I grew up on Yamahas mini enduro jt1, 60cc, then a 90cc, then a 125cc, then 3 different 250's .

The easiest thing would be to measure your existing kickstand, add x inches and open up a Drag Specialties catalog.

Unless you're pretty good at properly retempering metal, I really wouldn't advise doing this. Simply heating and rebending a kickstand will probably leave the heated portion pretty soft. That's a fairly heavy piece of machinery you're counting on being held up....

Have you tried painting it orange? Orange kickstands work very well.
