Default Progressive mono tubes

4 inch travel option for a stock 2013 1200c part number 31-2514 will work in a 2013 1200 48 right? Gettingg ready to order a set. But want to make sure.

Call Progressive. I looked at these when they were brand new to the market. I just couldn't justify $1000 worth of front end suspension.

Monotubes is the best money I've spent on my Sportster. Wasn't even close to $1000 though.

Don't mean to hijack but am interested in these monotubes. I can only find 3.25" travel for a 2012 48. Did you have to special order yours or anything like that to get the longer shock travel? Did they alter the front end ride height at all? Also how was the improvement in the front end compared to stock?

different sportsters have diffent front end travel. You have to search under differnet sportster models. The 5 inch is for 73 model sportster. Mono tubes are $197. All day.

Yeah, look under a standard sportster, the last standard was in 2008. Or a roadster.

Went and looked up the part number, 31-2513,

Thanks for the info. I've heard nothing but good about these and was hoping to be able to find one that offered a bit more travel. Either way I want to improve the front end suspension and think this may be the best way of doing so.

so can someone confirm they have used either the 4 inch kit or the 5.5 inch kit on there 48? progressive told them that the 4 inch kit would not work on my 48. the only reason i can think that it wouldn't is if it bottoms on on my lower tree.
