I don't think the Lemon Law applies to motorcycles.
You could park it in front of the dealer with a big sign that says lemon.

What's wrong with you? Pack her on your bike when you ride, that way she'll feel all safe and secure snuggling her ******* up against you.
Trade her bike in for a second bike for you.

Unless the engine and tranny are messed up badly, there is nothing much in a motorcycle that can't be fixed easily. BTW what were the issues that required so many trips to the dealer?

Are you for real man? You don't have a leg to stand on here. Per your own words, the dealer has fixed the problems. Now your wife is "scared because it might just break down again" and with all this being said, you're expecting the moco or the dealer to give you your money back minus the down payment. You've got to be kidding man. No company in their right mind will do what you're asking.

You bought a bad build, it sucks for sure but you have no legal recourse. You could buy 7000 bikes from the same dealer, and it won't make a difference. Dealers are only loyal to themselves.

Your best bet is to trade it in and take the loss. But it sounds like your wife doesn't want to ride so if that's the case just sell it outright and again take the hit.

His loss will be HUGE (Think TRUMP). Per the OP, he purchased GAP insurance, so he likely put little or nothing down.

It's got a two year warranty. Any issues will be resolved and the bike will be fine.

If she doesn't want to ride anymore, you'll have to buckle up and eat the loss.

What's the lemon law?
I think your letter needs more specifics...
-Dates
-Actual event in detail
-Distress/negative publicity/cost of repairs if not under warranty
-Next event
-Same info
-Repeat supposed laundry list.

Everything in life is negotiable but what you wrote above is weak.

Start at the lowest level and get yourself to dealer and talk with the owner. You bought 8 f'ing bikes from him/her, there could be a solution there. I've had trouble too and my understanding is that HD HQ may work with you but you gotta be concise.

I don't personally know the owner of your dealership, but I would think you have zero chance they will take the bike back.

In fact, if I were being honest with you, I would tell you if I were the dealer I would not take your bike back.

You've had "multiple" issues...how many is "multiple"? They've all been fixed. Two of the issues involved the bike quitting while on a ride. Both times fixed.

So, in reality, you're asking the dealership to take back your motorcycle that's running fine because your wife doesn't want to ride it anymore.

You can't be serious.

I understand your wife has had problems with the bike. It happens. It's under warranty and the problems have been fixed. I also understand your wife is afraid to ride THAT bike. Trade it in and get her a new bike. No matter how you look at it you'll take a hit financially.

But, the chance of the dealer buying it back is slim to none. Dealer doesn't give a crap how many bikes you bought from them.

Saying your wife is fearful of riding the bike just sounds like a case of buyer's remorse.
