if the class was free while you got your bike serviced, good deal.

Yesterday, I when to the demo at Queen City HD. What a nice day to get out and ride!

There were a few questions by the owners, but in all, it was more of a sales pitch for upgrades (which I had thought about anyway). We all got a certificate for 20% off, for that day and it is good for 10% off the rest of the month.

As I said earlier, it was a good reason to get out of the house and ride....

Crossroads is a great dealer... They have done all my warranty work on the RG over my selling dealer.

Selling dealer 24 miles from home
Crossroads 74 miles from home and worth the trip for their great service.

I take about 4-5 trips to Boone every year and always stop at Crossroads on the way

I just don't understand why anyone would knock another's desire to take a class or attend a seminar on any topic. There are all kinds of ways to learn and sometimes reading a manual front to back doesn't take the place of a good visual or hands on experience. I applaud anyone who wants to be just a bit more knowledgeable on any topic; even if sitting through a class results in the conclusion that you really do know more than you gave yourself credit.

Ride Safe!

Their first shot at a manual left much to be desired. I've been in the technology sector for going on 30 years, so I'm no stranger to gadgetry of this type- but the manual that came with my 2014 Limited was not all that helpful.
The current manual is much better. If they offered this locally I'd be tempted to attend, there are often little tricks and things that you can pick up on that you might not get out of the manual.

Better to learn the radio in a classroom than on the road where distraction could cost a life.

Yep I agree. While manuals are great I am the type that enjoys and gets more out of a good hands on visual demonstration. I don't really understand why anyone would knock a person for attending or a dealership for putting on on, its not like you are being forced to attend. Hats off to dealerships who put on programs like this

They had the same training here in Battle Creek a couple weekends ago. Same deal with the food and give-a-ways. I didn't go. I have learned quite a bit over the winter just watching the internet and playing with in the garage.
