Default Condensation

I park my bike in an old barn and been noticing a lot of condensation on it, including in the gauges.
Do you think a cover will help ? Where did you buy it.

I think a cover would cause way more damage as the cover will keep the moisture trapped longer

No, the cover will just restrict airflow even more.
You need to either park the bike in a humidity controlled area or open the barn doors so you get some air flowing through the barn.

Yeah that cant be good, run a fan in there. If its on dirt or gravel put down a moisture barrier then a sheet of plywood over that. Park it on that.

Create air flow with a fan.

I don't know if this stuff will work for a large barn but you may want to put a few of these around the bike.

Also, if you have that much condensation, then condensation is forming in your gas tank as well. To prevent this, minimize the air space in your gas tank by keeping it as full as you can when parked in the barn.

I only have a carport, so I keep mine covered from prying eyes and the pollen that's so bad here.

Damp rid works pretty good, but it will take a lot of them to work in a barn. You could wall off an area and damp rid a small area.

I store my bikes in a garage with two cars. The cars come in with tons of snow, so garage is always wet. Bikes are stored with breathable covers and a 40 Watt light bulb under each one. The 40 Watt bulb is enough to keep the bikes slightly warmer than the ambient temperature in the garage. Condensation occurs when the bike is colder than the temp in the garage, like when temperature is rising, but the bike is still cold. I've been doing this since 2002 and never had a condensation issue.

Not really.

Don't buy a cover unless you plan to fix the problem. you need to remove the water vapor from the air first. Desiccant is effective in this regard.
