of wax........
I know there are a few threads on the wax subject.
However,
Is there any need for several coats of wax on the paint of your bike?
I used to detail my FIL's show bikes and I liked to put several coats on, even though folk say there really is no need to do this.
We've all heard of the guy with the 'Vette that had 75 coats of wax on it, so is there any need in going this far? ( not really 75, but you get the idea)
Also, is there any wax/sealer that would not wash off; say if you spilled gas on it or used Dawn?
Actually, there's no need for wax on the bike at all.I own a bike, and a custom antique car[Studebaker Hawk]-neither of them get waxed.Just polish.
My daily driver car and pickup get polished too,but not very often.
It goes on easy and comes off easy as well.
Guess I'm just old-fashioned and would rather take care of stuff rather than let it run down and not get top dollar when I trade in........
