Tool kit
Was my '07 Wide Glide supposed to come with a tool kit? All of my previous bikes have been Jap. bikes and they always come with a tool kit.

I doubt there would be a tool kit with a Wide Glide. I know my '06 RK didn't come with one and only a few select bikes come with a tool kit. I guess we expect too much for 20K ++ for a motorcycle from the MOCO.

that means if they included one, they would have to figure out where to put it. Why in the world would you deserve to get a $5 tool kit after only spending $20K on a bike?
Seriously, as ,mentioned the touring bikes, UC etc. come with a basic kit. nothing to brag about, but....
I got a Cruz Tool kit that is high quality and has most everything you need. Also, Eastern Performance had a deal on their E-Bay site for another pretty good set.

Anything I ever bought that came with a tool kit came with crap tools. I have a tool kit already; I imagine anyone who buys a Harley and has an interest in taking a wrench to it does too. What would be the point in the MOCO giving out a crap tool kit? Just another thing for people on the internet to complain about....

Windzone makes a good kit also. My jap bikes all came with kits too, but they were pretty much light duty and junky, but they at least did some light repairwork. You can pick up some good quality basic tools at Sears for under $100.00 and they'd be as good as anything else.
