Default Decision Time

Hello all,

I have decided to upgrade and take the plunge to buy a Harley. I have been driving a metric cruiser for 4 years now and want to get a touring bike as I like long rides and trips. I'm for comfort not so much power. Not ready to fork out for brand new at this time.

I'm stuck with a decision between 2 bike and looking for opinions.

Option #1 2007 Harley CVO ultra glide with 37k km. I like the look of the bike and it has the 110 motor and all the upgrades. (though some ie stereo make little difference as it technology is a little behind the times)

Option#2 2011 Harley Ultra Glide limited with 55k km. bike has the 103 and some of the upgrades but stock exhaust etc.

Both bike are around the same price and both in great shape. Sure the CVO has a better paint job but is buying the 2011 with the changes to frame, exhaust location etc a better buy. (as you can see I'm leaning toward the CVO). if CVO was a 2009 or 2010 I would not be second guessing my decision.

Looking for peoples thoughts.

I love my 07 but I wouldn't mind a wider tire and another gallon in the tank. Nothing wrong with what I have though. Go with the one that makes you smile the most.

Can't comment here. I absolutely HATE fairing bikes, so deciding between these 2 would be like deciding who to vote for in the last election.

Neither bike is my cup of tea, but if I had to choose it would be the 2011 since the touring frame was improved in 2009.
