Default Ape hangers
just put 16'' ape hangers on my softail deluxe I'm I suppose to have some play at the risers put new polyurethane bushings an torque them to specks but
I have some play is that normal

Your going to have some play. You just increased your leverage on your risers by a bunch. Worst case scenario you could get some solid risers. I have harleys urethane bushings on mine and theyre pretty solid

D kirk has solid metal bushing elemators for apes they give you a driect bolt up to your triple tree with out bushings under $20

I have the yaffe clamp and harley urethane bushings. The yaffe clamp is awesome.
