Default The thumb-controlled throttle control screw

So... On my '15 Sportster 48, I had that thumb-controlled **** underneath the throttle. I just realized that on my '17 Softail Slim, it's gone. The place where it threads into underneath the throttle is there, but the screw with the plastic star on the end is gone.

Did Harley ditch them, or did mine just fall out some place? Also, there is no mention of them in my owner's manual, and I can't find any mention of them in the shop manual.

Thanks in advance,

Buzz

It's on my '15 Breakout but I don't/won't use it. As older model Harley's, I don't know it they did away with or not.

No. I have a FLS, not a FLSS. It's just an option on the FLS.

I can't say definitively for 2017, but the 2015 and 2016 FLS models don't have it.

Checked the parts microfiche site. No throttle lock screw shown.

There's one on mine, I use it as a hillbilly cruise control sometimes.
Could be HD corporate liability attorneys got rid of it because it caused a crash.

The components are still available (Ronnies for example) for other model years. Sounds like it would work.
