Ordered some longer brake and clutch cables. This is insane waiting this long. Apparently HD has changed wharehouses in Canada. Nice riding season to be parked. . Not impressed!!
Tough nuggies Canuck. Sit around and wait like the rest of us do!
Still trying to figure out why you took the bike apart before you had the necessary parts for the job in hand. It's not like the bike didn't have any handlebars on it before you tore it down, was it?
I bought my bike right off the showroom floor. I wanted certain things and paid an extra $10k to have my bike how I want it. Chrome forks were back ordered 3 weeks, what was I gonna do? Bitch about it online..nah. At some point you have to suck it up and say it is what it is because there's nothing you can do about it regardless. I sure as hell don't feel bad for you lol
I waited 8 weeks for my Drago's Dragula exhaust and was pleased as punch that I got it in that time frame. It's hard to wait when you want to out riding but as a society we are too used to instant gratification, sometimes you just gotta' wait.
Last couple times I needed cables I ordered them from Eastern Performance. Never a problem. Then again, I am in the US. I feel your pain. Well, not really but I feel for ya.
I live in the Netherlands and believe me, ordering USA aftermarket parts takes me no more than a week before delivered at my house. And including transport costs against half the price or even less than genuine parts
Why would you take the thing apart before knowing you had the parts to put it back together? Poor Planning... Like others have said, that is what winter is for.

Bet you wish you had never brought this up now eh ? Whatever you post/ask on this forum there will always be people who will 'put you down', ignore them. I'm sure your parts will be worth the wait. For all you 'experts', the O.P. says he just got the bike !..b.
