Nope..wasted time fumbling for that horn better spent working the brakes. I only use my horn if I see a good looking woman on a country road..they seldom wave back though
Funny you should say this. Something similar happened to me a couple of days ago although I was in my Jeep when this old guy & probably wife cut me off big time. So now I'm behind them on this road where you just can't pass bcuz of on coming. As it turned out, after about five miles of this nonsense with him driving 25 mph and me having to drive 25mph behind him hoping & praying he's turning off somewhere soon, this old crumb is going the same place I'm going, to this Pet's Supply Super Store. We both pull in the parking lot and I puill in a parking space right next to them. It didn't occur to me at first but as I got out of my Jeep, the old woman reached over and locked her door and they were both looking at me with genuine fear on their faces. I laughed and just walked inside the store. I figured I'd see them in the there somewhere but never did.
I was cruising thru town about 35 mph they pulled out from a red lobster about 20 ft in front of me, I hit the brakes it was close but didn't hit him ,he didn't even know he cut me off, so now i'm behind him and honk the guy locks up his brakes and then I hit him just a love tap no damage so I learned a lesson. "DON"T HONK AFTER THE FACT"
I had a old lady honk at me today. I was at a stop sign (the road ended) and I was waiting to turn right. The traffic on the road was backed up because of a red light about 50 yards down the road. No one was moving. Some old lady pulls up behind me, also turning right, and honks at me. I look in my mirrors and she is waving at me to go. Go where, I have no idea.
So I put up my hand questioningly and she give me another frustrated wave. Had she not been an old lady we probably would of had words. I guess I should have apologized for being on her road and I should have apologized for all the others on the road as well. [sm=imsorry.gif]
