Speedometer/Odometer not working want to sell the bike but not sure I can without an odometer reading.

Any troubleshooting ideas? It sat for 2 years with a dead battery and it was working when I put it away but after replacing the battery and recharging only thing that is the only thing that is dead..

All of the indicator light bulbs work (Headlight, Tranny, Turn Signals, Oil) could it just be the speedo unit itself? If it was a fuse would the would the indicators still work?

Right on, I'm in Muncie. I have a buddy on Eagle Creek Road. I'm going to be heading his way next weekend. Shoot me a pm if you don't have it figured out by then, maybe we can meet up and figure it out. Maybe swap speedos and see if the problem follows over. I heard of speed sensors failing, but not sure why that would happen with the bike just sitting there. Were there any mice where you stored it? Have you checked the wiring for bite marks?

 

If your question is, "can you sell it", yea I'm sure your title will provide for an unknown mileage option. If your question is will this make it harder to sell, that's a different story.
