06 sportster 1200 speedometer problems

06 sportster 1200 speedometer problems
i have an 06 sportster 1200 custom and the speedometer stopped working. The light and mileage reading isn't working either like theres no power going to it. The neutral and oil lights in the top half work though. Ive checked the fuses and they are good. Could it be a relay? Any ideas? thanks

My speedometer/odometer recently quit working but my light was still on. It turned out to be my VSS vehicle speed sensor, it had failed. Do your turn signals self cancel? that is another symptom of the vss failing.

I had the same thing happen with my roadster I bought in January. Speedo was completely dead when I bought it. No light, no odo, no start up or diagnostic mode. My turn signals worked properly. I check the 12v into the speedo, it was good. > Replaced speedo, works great.
I actually picked up two speedos, just by coincidence, so I've got a spare one.

Speedo not correct
04 883 with 1200 conversion. Earlier this year I had to replace entire bottom end after I finished that job. I was testing new motor. When I noticed my speedo was off by around 10mph according to my gps? Does anyone know why this could be?
