Latch insert question

Default Latch insert question

I got some of those dome latch inserts on eBay. They're super thin, so my question is do they sit on top of the stock reflectors? Seems if you took the reflectors out there'd be too much space.

Saddle bag latch/hinge reflector replacements. Some don't care for the red reflectors
