I'm willing to bet you find you you are using it a lot more than you thought you would. Figured I would use mine for routine maintenance, when I give it an in-depth detailing etc...
Now I find that if I am just doing a quick wipe down of bugs I want it on the jack. Makes it so much easier to put it on the jack at eye level and scoot around it on the stool. Checking air pressure is so much easier on the jack so I can rotate the tire to the position I want
But the good think with the J&S is it only takes a couple of minutes, slide the jack under, hit the foot pedal 10-15 times and your set, no straps needed
Your probably right on using it for more than I am thinking now.
But I'll save the air lift feature for when I'm 85 and can't pump the lever, but then again I probably couldn't ride then either
Mine came by a freight hauler. Not sure if FedEx and UPS take packages that heavy. Might be why shipping took a few days longer than I'd have expected considering how close to the factory I am.
Just checked and it says it's coming FedEx ground.
I'm surprised. Hope I'm home to help the guy.
I absolutely have no worries about that.
If my bike is going in the air I have to be 100% sure it's cool.
Yea, there are others but I know what I'm getting with the J&S.

Yea, that's one thing about mail order, it's not instant gratification
Well, I'm glad I'm not alone. Patience is NOT a quality that I was blessed with. But as I said earlier, if memory serves, it didn't take all that long for it to make its way to me. It is a heavy beast. I happened to be at home when mine arrived and the driver was VERY appreciative. Given its weight, I do remember the shipping container being pretty thrashed, but there was no damage to the jack and all pieces were accounted for. Hang in there - it'll be there soon. Enjoy!
