Default Who can customize a Corbin?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a crew that will work on a Corbin seat (brand new Dual Tour) and had good results? Tried Mean City already, apparently Corbin glues the cover and it's a pita to work on. Gotta get this thing right. I am about to do it myself.

Thanks in advance..

I should have mentioned... 3 times already! I don't want to turn this into one of 'those' threads, but suffice to say, my 17 year love affair with is over. Thanks for the thought though!

Take it to your local upholstery guy and explain the situation to him and see what they say.

Ya, that's the plan if no one has a recommendation. Thanks!

I fond a local guy on yelp that had some good reviews...took my seat to him and he redid the padding, new cover with colored trim/stitching that matched the bike. He charged 165 and had it finished in one day. I am very happy with the outcome.

Find someone local.

What is it you are actually looking for? Comfort, design or something else?

One thing to remember in seat comfort is it's not always the seat. Sometimes comfort has to do with your age, circulation, hydration, weight, body mass and physical condition.
I was able to ride longer on a crappy seat when I was younger..not so much now.

Comfort related - I want; the nose lowered (shaved), remove rider plush padding / harder and firmer, reduce the angle (forward lean not height) of the lumbar support area - it digs sharply into the lower spine. It was sent back to Corbin 3 times. The second time it came back to me, it wouldn't even fit the bike at all - seat pan jacked up 4+ inches off the fender. The third time it almost fit the bike (still over an inch off the frame - I had to fabricate a riser to lift the tank and and raise the seat's front tongue receiver. I also had to modify the seat pan rubber feet/bumpers. Of the three attempts, the seat never hit the comfort objectives. It was initially ordered in the beginning of April.

Corbin has a F rating with BBB, google "corbin complaints" for more stories.
