In reading the article, how could anyone on here - armed with any sense of rationale - argue with its' stance? I'm all for law enforcement cracking down on any and all unlicensed and uninsured motorists; motorcyclists included. For reasons which are beyond me, people tend to discount the skill involved in riding a motocycle. Hence, the attitude taken by so many that one doesn't need a license to operate such a vehicle. Ride without a license or insurance - get caught - pay the price. It's as simple as that in my mind's eye.
I agree with you 100%. Im glad alot of you feel this way. We work wrecks every day where one of the people involved has no license, no insurance, no nothing. Our own insurance has to cover it under uninsured motorists. Its not right. [:@][:@]

I agree also. As lame as some might think the test is to obtain a license, it's still required by law and as stated above, all of us pay the price for the folks that don't bother to get licensed.
Isn't that in the job discription of the Police? If they were not doing that from the start, what the h3ll have they been doing?
I think that anyone that can't pay shouldn't play. No license, no drive, no insurance, no license, no money, deport your a$$ back home to where ever, you don't deserve to be here if you don't pay Taxes, license's or insurance. If you don't like it, tough, it must suc to be you!
I guess it really comes down to what you think about licensing practices anyway.
Just because you hold a license doesn't mean you are capable of operating a motor vehicle in a proficient manner. It just means you have paid the tax to obtain it.
I personally don't understand why once someone has passed the MC test, they need to pay again and again for the MC endosement. Also why we need separate insurance for the motorcycle liability. Perhaps more for the collision and theft, but after all we can only drive one vehicle at a time.
As long as we have this kind of stupidity in the insurance ripp off conspiracy, I cannotblame somemone too much for getting fed up.
There are just too many establishments telling me what insurance I must have, what I must wear when I ride, what I must wear when I drive, and in general minding my business for me - for my own good.
I have all the papers, MC's, insurance - but WHERE WILL IT ALL STOP?
