Default windshield RE-COATING, not refinishing by buffing.

Some of the factory coating on my windshield came off when I pressure washed it, duuuhhh!!
Can the windshield be re-coated??

If it a tint on the front of a Harley one, I do not think so. Someone stuck a flyer on mine with a piece of tape. The thin laminate tint came off with the tape. Harley sales just the shield for most.
Fore me, it was cheaper to get a unused take off off eBay . No mare silly tint either. You look over it and the untinted is a lot less noticeable.

Go to the "Detailing" section of the forum and find out how to take care of the bike. PWashing is a no, no in my book. Too much likelihood of injecting H2O and debris into places they don't belong. Good luck.

This right here. I wonder how many of the cases of premature wheel bearing failure I read about came from bikes that were pressure washed. The high pressure wand can easily penetrate bearing seals and other places water should never go.
