I want to find out how to race on the beach. that would be fun
I don't see how it will be possible, let alone fun. That beach is short and deep sand. But I heard what is really happening is they're shutting down Lincoln Memorial drive (on the lake for non-locals) and having races there. I would be surprised if it actually happens. Sounds like a lawyers wet dream.
Oh....and.....

Maybe if you paid me $1000 I would do it.

I rode in the parade at the 95th; I got a parade ticket in the lottery for the 100th but didn't use it. Not going to the 115th, but I sure wouldn't pay $1000 to ride in a massive traffic jam
Being in Milwaukee for the the 115th should be a great experience. I would highly recommended passing on riding in the parade.
I live about 60 miles from Milwaukee and know the place well. If I can be for any help just ask . Will do the best I can.
During the 115th there will be a lot of free entertainment plenty to do. Every dealership in the area has a lot going on.
No reason to go broke visiting the 115th.

If you buy the rally pack (about $50 or so - ticket, t-shirt, tote bag) you get entered into a draw to ride in the parade. It's limited to 3,000 bikes.
To be honest, I don't care either way if I end up in the parade or not. If so, at least I will be on my M8 Fat Bob - so no overheating like on my old Dyna!
We manage to book at a Motel 6 about 10 miles away? Let me check my Gmail... Yep, in Glendale, about $58/night for 4 or 5 nights. Was absolutely the best deal, hands down, that we could find. It's like Motel 6 didn't get the memo! That Iron Horse looked nice...but there is no...way....in...hell I'm paying $600/night. Don't care how good or close it is. Fortunately for them, and many other shops and vendors, there are HD owners that can and will afford such prices. I'd like to think I could, but that I'm more practical than that. Besides, I could buy one or two HD parts with that money. Heh.
