What dent? Is it on the tank or fenders? Tank just pour all the gas out drop a match in, and RUN! If it doesnt explode it will pop the dent out... it may explode though so be careful.

Or maybe put a air valve into a old gas cap , and use a air compressor to pressurize the tank and pop it out with air . Might be a little safer. And this can be done with out taking the tank off the bike .

Mine had a few tank dents when i bought my dyna. Ended up repainting it with a buddy and we bondoed what we had to. If worse case is you cant save the paint find a cool color with metal flake and go nuts. Just no green... any other color.
But, give this a try first. I bought this to remove a dent in my fender, but haven’t tried it yet. Whatta ya got to lose by trying this? There are utube videoes on how to do this.

If there's a body shop close by, they should know how to get the dent out without destroying the paint (if possible) and will probably do it cheaper than you can buy the stuff to do it yourself.
