The story and the title sounds a little like "buyer remorse". I had that with my current bike.
It kind of is. The funny thing is that I was saying that while we were closing the deal. The OL kept telling me to go ahead and get it and pay it off before we retire. It isnt that I cant afford it, but more like I needed a new bike last like I needed a hole in my head as I was happy with the Limited

I switched from a 17 Road King to a 17 Road Glide, and talk about buyers remorse I tossed and turned all night. The next day I was reading the obituaries and a kid that was a year behind me in school was DEAD at 54 as soon as I read that my buyers remorse vanished! I love my Road Glide and I assure you that you will also, Have fun and enjoy. A final note I always here how Road Glides are great at eating up the miles and that is true but they can carve the hell out of the back roads just as well.
