RE: Local police unfamiliar w/Modulating headlight law
I saw one of these the other day on a bagger as we where driving back form down South. Made me look^ What kind of kit did you install on yours?? Have a link for it?
RE: Local police unfamiliar w/Modulating headlight law
The modulator is definately an eye catcher.
It flashes just like some cop car headlights when they have their sparklers going. Maybe the PA cops don't like it because now they aren't the only ones with "flashy" lights on their vehicles.
RE: Local police unfamiliar w/Modulating headlight law
it got me a ticket in Tennessee. trooper wouldn't have paid any attention to me if he hadn't caught the modulation. i don't turn mine on until i see some cage about to put me at risk, then i turn it on and then back off when the danger is past. here in alabama people will pull out in front of you, cuss you and give you the bird. i have been told "you weren't supposed to be there", "you are supposed to go around", and the most absurd was "there's three lanes there." leave alabama and pullouts become rarer.

(US Codes) prohibits any state
from forbidding a system that conforms to FMVSS 108.
