Wiley X for riding.

No they're not cheap, but ballistic lens will take a rock at 100mph, sunglasses will not. I'm not a fan of having something that can shatter into the worse thing to put into my eye, ie broken glass, to protect my eyes from something else.

Also if nothing else they keep the wind from getting into your eyes. That alone is worth the money. But if you have a big old windscreen on your bike I guess it doesn't make much difference. I just prefer the feel of wind in my face.

The ones at the Harley dealer are actually the best ones I could find for riding. They only partially polarize them. Basically means you have the clarity from polarized lenses but can still read GPS or your phone.

The red Cerokote aluminum frame glasses I posted above are Gatorz. They come in several styles and colors.
These would be great if they were designed to have interchangeable lenses for different conditions and could be worn in rain or shine, daylight or nightime.

Randolph engineering or american optical. Fvck chinese crap. Ray ban has a bunch of china as does (i believe) oakley. They also have better lines. BUT the two i mentioned are wellmade american brands- step up guys.

I use prescription sport sunglasses that are shatterproof on the motorcycle. I like the transitions, and the bifocal lense helps to quickly read the GPS.

I tried them in 1980’s with cable earpieces and found that Wayfarers blocked wind to the eyes on a naked bike much better. I still wear Aviators every day, just not on the bike.

Most recently I’ve been running Wiley X’s when riding.

Wiley-X with prescription bi-focal lenses. Ray-Ban aviators allow too much wind to hit your eyeballs.

Aviator type sun glass's never did give me any wind protection. I wear a wrap around style safety glass's that work really well. And they were free !
