I have always owned HD's, not because of loyalty but because I thought they looked the best.

I love the harley... actually sold my suzuki gsxr1000 to help me afford the harley.... If i could only have one bike, it would be the harley of course... since thats' why i sold the gsxr... but that beinig said.. if i could find me a nice used gsxr that i could afford (not giving up my harley mod money of course)... i would definatly consider that.. those bikes are fun to hit the back roads on too.. I also had a TL1000R that was a Vtwin sports bike... that was a fun bike too...

Harley Davidson is the only one for me, but if others want to ride something different it is fine by me. I do not feel that everyone needs to be on a Harley to enjoy riding.

Well I was happier with my Suzuki than I am with my Harley if that tells you anything. At least that bike didn't sound like the tranny was going to fall on the ground at any minute. My next bike will probably be a metric again.
More power to ya. I'm guessing that Harley riding just ain't your thing. An old biker friend of mine told me once, "Riding a metric is like banging a queer, feels good while you are doing it but ya wouldn't want any of your friends to see ya!"
Lol-I do find it rather amazing you are a mod, but whatever, not my board. Um, no I'm rider period. Brand is secondary - I would really like this bike if it were not such a piece of junk. I'll probably look real hard at Victory next time around. I have heard nothing but good from owners. Although I admit more than one Triumph is catching my eye. You do what you want, I mean after all how many people did Hitler get to follow him into the trenches of hell (just a stupid analogy like yours)? Blind faith in anything is bad, including Harley.

I've ridden many different brands, only really comfortably on me WG though. To me it feels like the Caddilac of bikes. But hey, you have to ride what fits you and your style of riding.

I ride HD and love it, in the 70s thru 90's I drove airhead BMWs and loved them too. I have no brand loyalty, just a motorcyclist who enjoys riding, however the HD experience in unique in some ways.

Love my bagger, but she is not fixed yet. Ride my metric standard to work, and have spent the last 3 weeks with it as my only bike. For a cruiser, HD is my favorite, but my Z is a great bike for work, and riding the twisties. It is saving me from going ballistic while everyone involved tries to figure out how to get my HD to run correctly. Would rather ride metric than nothing..... but hoping that this shop that I am working with will straighten it out. I will say this.. HD dealership service departments could learn a LOT of lessons from the metric service departments in terms of speed and customer service. That has been my experience here in DC MD and VA...
