Have to weld a fender directly to the rear frame... plan on it, just dont want to be without bike for more than a few days. Anyone have a source for cheap hardtail fenders I can adapt?
It looks like you bought the sport glide because it had everything that you needed without doing much change other than the fender. FWD controls, Bigger tank, USD fork, USD. Wouldnt have it been better to purchase a slim or a streebob first?

totally. coulda bought a street bob and got a kraus or odc front end, would have still been less the the sport glide.. odc would have supplied chome trees at no cost on demand.
I know, but Ill die an idiot. The bright side: wouldnt have been as much fun. I actually didnt know what I wanted. After I bought it I popped the bags off and the windscreen off and then knew theyd never go back on, so I started checking out old custom classics and fell in love with bikes like the crossbones and:
Now I’m headed out to the garage to try and weld this fender to the swing arm - duh - so it doesn’t “look like a dirt bike”.
Cant find some tiny turn signals that I can mount to the swing arm... Suggestions?
