Looks to me more like a 70s bike that was restored last year. Mirrors are one item that screams at me. Also, was Arlen making those grips 40 years ago? I had a set on my last bike. They look awesome. Had a lady at a rest stop ask me how they got all those little lights lights inside.

It is a nice looking bike.

I owned a XLCH in the early 70s. No way it had all that on it. Bag roll wrapped around handle bars was considered dressing it out.
That thing looks like a baggers wet dream.

Oil cap and the "B" model are all I like on the whole bike.

My seventy four sporty xlch looked just like this, minus all the added on crap. Right hand shift. Exact same oil tank. I molded the oil tank neck. Yeah I was hot ****.

There wasn't an XL 1200 in the 70s, also, wasn't the XL a Kick only bike back then???
