Currently on my 2016 fat bob I have v&h big shots, I had to put reducers in the o2 holes in order for my sensors to fit. I have read that this isn’t a good setup because the reducers move the sensors further out of the air stream. I also have a set of v&h short shots that I would not have to run with reducers. I just bought the fp3 also, so my question is what is in your guys opinions the better setup, big shots with the reducers + FP3 or the short shots that would not need reducers + FP3?
Are you saying you installed a new set of headers, the bung holes for the O2 sensors were too big so some reducers were installed so that o2 sensors could be installed and now the sensors don't stick far enough in the exhaust to get proper readings? Now you have installed a FP3 and the concern is the tune may not be correct. Why not use the correct exhaust header for your bike? Then the FP3 tune would work as designed. Pardon my ignorance but are the short shots and long shots a slip on muffler or are they integral to the exhaust header?
These are both full exhaust systems, the big shots are supposed to outperform the short shots but with the o2 sensor inconvienece and having to have reducers I’m wondering if the o2 sensor misplacement is a big of enough deal to put my short shots on instead and sell the big shots

There both straight pipe headers systems. No mufflers just optional baffles.
if mine, I’d try both to find the best performance.
Why did you have to " I had to put reducers in the o2 holes in order for my sensors to fit "?
If you have the right set of pipes for your bike the stock O2 should thread right in (mine did just like V&H said it would).
What is the most important aspect looks, sound, or performance (bottom end or top end performance)?
If you do a little research you will find out what pipe & what baffle gives you the best performance in the range you are looking for.
