How did you end up figuring out what wire went to what pin in the connector. That wiring diagram in an above response is all greek to me. I have the same problem, but a little simpler. I took the pins out of the connector to run the wires through some new bars, but the tape that I had on the wires indicating which group of wires went to which side of the connector fell off. I know which red, black and white wires go with each other, I just don't know if which group of them goes on the left or right side(top/bottom if you go by your picture) when looking at the back of the connector.
Hello! Ive been working on my new handle bar today and came across few things I wanted to make sure of before I proceeddddd.. so few questions.. (bike: 2018 street bob)
1. First of all....Can the trottle by wire sensor wires be extended with solder & extra wires?
2. I've chopped a TBW sensor wires.. in attempt to extend to suit new handlebar... without realising the wires aren't colour coded...
i have 2x red, 2x black and 2x white....
Sigh! Lol
there was no yellow sleeve? Mine were in a yellow sleeve, easier to keep track of.
I'm still waiting on my service manual to come in, 35 days now and counting. I installed 10-in burdock pullback risers with a set of buckhorn bars and had to lengthen all my cables by about 18 in. The six wires on the throttle cable were not color differentiated or in a yellow sleeve on mine. Through trial and error system I did get them hooked up correctly, the extension actually came with six different color wires which didn't help with my three different colored wires. They're waiting for a 36-in brake light extension and turn signal extensions and hopefully be up and running.
