I always wear gloves, as does anyone who rides with me two up. Likewise, eye protection and helmets.

Always wear gloves, usually carry 2 pair, Foxcreek DeerTours when it's hot and a pair of their Elk skin gloves when cold or rainy.

I always wear gloves. I've found that deerskin is more abrasive resistant than cowhide and much thinner so they fit better, you get a better grip, are cooler (mesh on sides of fingers) and you actually forget that you are wearing them. It is also more forgiving when they get wet as they don't get hard or smell. Wearing them in hot weather actually makes your hands cooler than other exposed parts since the sun is not hitting on them.

The gloves below is what I have been wearing for years. Don't let the $12 price tag fool you. They are ergonomically designed so they fit around the throttle nicely and feel great. I've been wearing them for years and they truly are awesome, and of course, they fit like a glove!

Armored gauntlet gloves for me every time. I also ATGATT so I'm full gear every time I ride as is my wife when she rides with me. A little bit of sweat is a reasonable trade for protection to me. Got an armored mesh jacket for summer riding and it's not bad at all even in the upper 90s here in CO.

I *was* using golf gloves when the temps got over 90, but on a recent trip I stopped by a Harley shop and found some HD mesh gloves with leather palms that are *really* comfortable - - lets the wind right through and therefore ventilates well. The mesh is super soft and flexible, and it was like putting on a well-broke-in pair of gloves. I've found my new summer gloves ....

I've been wearing Cortech gloves for years. They are great for summer but too light for cold temps. I picked up some heavier Harley Gloves for the fall.

Have always worn gloves, tan lines are my giveaway! Along with all mentioned reasons for safety, it keeps the skin oils and sweat off the grips which will make them last longer.
