Trouble
i have a 2013 Harley Davidson iron 883 my engine light is on along with my battery light engine only clicks I replaced battery and replaced relays but bike still only clicks ,, lights work perfect, fuel injectors are powering up properly

Also changed relay switch to no avail
It push starts fine runs perfectly,, also had it jump started runs perfectly, but upon shutting engine off it only clicks on the restart , plenty of power from new battery and the injectors cycle perfectly,, the starter just clicks 🤔

I dont think so brother ,, I installed the battery myself and I asure you the battery cables arent loose , this problem really has me stumped,,, doing my best to fix it myself,, I dont feel like being raped at the Harley dealership to fix it ,, it jump starts no problem so at least getting it there wont cost me the mortgage on my house to get it there 🤬 😩💯

Good point, humid air in FL is corrosive to electric connections.

Cables can rot internally too, they may look ok on the outside, but inside could possibly be corroded..

I agree if you can jump start it it's a battery or connection issue I have seen new batteries bad out of the box I would also clean every connection that you can find even if they look good they can still have corrosion that adds resistance
