Any machine shop could most likely fix the bearing bore.

I took the spokes and WW off my 03 RK. They looked great but too much maintenance and I can't plug on the fly.

Well for starters I wouldn't be going back to that dealer again. Anybody who installs a bearing in a hub that allows the bearing to spin around isn't going to do that for me.

My days are very full with non productive activities but I have found that is what it turns out I am actually best at. Also, I have always run at least one plug in a tire.
Ya just gotta like this guy! I don't know why but ya just gotta!

The dealer found the problem with my rear wheel when they went to change the tire last week. They would not let me ride the bike out of the dealer even if I wanted them to leave the original wheel on it.

The new wheel is half of an inch wider, so when the dealer measured the wheel off the rim that is where they got the quarter of an inch off. Anyway they put the new wheel and tire on the bike and got it back to me this afternoon. So I have my bike back and feel much better! They only charged me an hour labour total which they had more time in it then that, and picked the bike up at my house with their truck and trailer. So I feel like I got a fair deal in the end, there was just a lot of frustration mixed in!

Hell yes. Great post Sir. Similar tactics here...and will fine tune these tactics in 10 years when I retire and have more time.

I hear ya, man. The last time I put new tires on my bike I immediately jammed an ice pick in both of them just so I could get those first few plugs out of the way...
