I just replaced my 6 year old HJC. I was glad to do it -- after 6 seasons of sweating into that thing, I couldn't take the smell anymore.
Yes, I know you can wash the liner.
The one I bought was really nice for a few months, and is now falling apart. That's what I get for buying an "inexpensive"
carbon fiber helmet. The carbon fiber is doing great -- every single other thing has either broken or is in the process of doing
so.
Next time, I'll spring for an Arai or Shoei. I'm tired of screwing around with cheaper ones.
