Yup I listen to tunes on longer rides. Radio on the bike is all but useless so its headphones if I want to hear anything at all. And yes I'll get into it.

Anyone else toe tapping? Also taping my fingers to the drum beat on my handle bars.

Does it make me look like a...
Hell, I sing along sometimes...
Maybe that's why I get some odd looks from time to time.

No tunes on my bike, so no. (I don't ride with earbuds either, but see some crotch rocket types playing drums on their gas tanks at stop lights.)

To me, it looks stupid.

Last weekend, a 60+ year old grizzled biker pulled up in the next lane to me at a stop light. He was clothed in jeans, jean jacket, flat black helmet, flat black bike (which look to be spray bombed painted, but I could tell it was Harley). He had some kind of tinny (not tiny) stereo rigged up on it and was blasting it at "11" on the volume dial. He was rockin' some sappy old country and western tune where his dog died and his girlfriend left him, stealing his pickup truck (which was full of whiskey) or whatever.

To me, that seems rude or not very thoughtful. Blast all you want rollin down the highway, but when you are stopped at an intersection (or for gas) turn it down. Sheesh!

I am sure some of the folks at this large intersection thought it was ME as I have a fairing and he was on some sort of Dyna or Old softail.

ugh....

Well chit, then my bike is special because as I pull up to a stoplight or stopsign, the stereo automatically turns itself down. That's when I actually turn the dang thing on.

But, when it is on, when I come to a stoplight especially, I'll put my bike in neutral put the kickstand down, get off my bike completely and dance in the streets. Sometimes I'll pretend my bike is a pole and do some fancy pole dancing. While everyone is watching with their jaws wide open, the light will turn green, and I'll quick hop back on my bike and ride away.

Sorry, but no one thinks to have a camera with them at the time. (plus I hope y'all understand I was just kidding) The reality is I haven't turned the radio on in over a year.
