I sure wouldn't want to ride on that seat for long.... geesh, did you see that thing?
Hardly made for any kind of longer ride.
Personally, it looks like no thought put into it. The handlebars are too far forward and low with the tank so high. That's a long reach for those bars and the gas cap on the top is ridiculously large. The seat looks like they forgot to put one on there and at the last minute, realized they had better put something on there.
And as I said, the worst part is, you know it's got to be ridiculously priced compared to a sportbike.
Mark, that 'gas cap' thing you're seeing is actually the air cleaner. A neat design, in my opinion..but basically all it is, is a hypercharger turned over sideways. And yea, the seat doesn't look very comfortable at all. Still, pricing aside, i'd definitely rather be riding one of these than a V-ROD. [&:]
The bike looks pretty good. I'm with orangecrush though, that engine is not sportbike material. The numbers are okay but the character of an aircooled Harley engine doesn't suit a sportbike.
Well if you just want a v-twin sportbike there are plenty of options out there: aprilia, ducati, even honda with the rc51. And there's nothing wrong with v-twins in general for racing - these are all race winning platforms. You don't have to have something that revs to 15k.
But that Wakan you show I would take over a Buell any day. That S&S engine beats the snot out of the sporster engine in the buells. And I like its minimalistic look compared to buells which in my opinion look like something you'd expect to see in an arcade game.

Agreed... and Nicky Hayden can prove that. I'm just saying that a Vtwin motor from Honda is water cooled, I can't see an HD motor turning high rpms for any length of time. (as far as a race)
