I've owned my first Harley since June 12th, 2007. It's a 2005 Sportster 883L and since I've owned it I have really enjoy riding it. I just wanted to say many, manythanks for the HDForums. I've asked some questions and got back some great feedback. They probably sound pretty basic to most of the members here but I have learned so much already by asking & reading a lot of the posts in the differant forums. Seems like I'm on here every chance I get to read the latest posts and to see what's new. Thankyou, I love this site.
Boxcar, welcome to a healthy obsession.
I passed a bike shop this afternoon while returning from a ride with my wife. The shop had a sign in the front windowthat saidthe following: "Skip the therapist, buy a Bike."
I'd take that prescription any day.
You like the rest of us sound pretty emotional after getting your first Harley. You love your bike so much it turns you into this person that loves everybody and everything. Kind of like the old Bud Light commercial, "Because I love you Man!"
Isn't it amazing how mucheuphoria your bike brings to you?
I agree. Great site here. That's why I spend so much time here too.
That feeling will go on! Ihave had my Heritage for a little over a year now, and today I found myselfa couple times grinning from ear to ear! It's called FREEDOM!I rode about 300 miles today and it was sunny, warm and I am coon eyed and sunburnt!! Don't get any better in my book!!!
