What grinds my gears are the morons that use the shared center(turn lane) ti get out into traffic or an acceleration lane.
Years ago, I was stationary in the center turn lane waiting for traffic to clear so I could make my left turn. Next thing I know, Im hit head on by some lady who was making an illegal left turn out of a parking lot and thought it was ok to use the center lane to merge in with other traffic. Didnt see me because she was only looking to the right in order to merge.
Police told me that she had ne clue about what she did wrong.
