I went to the dealership and told them that the Low Rider wheels look the same (just the S is powder coated) and they researched the mountings on both and said that it will fit and all I will have to do is have the ABS bearings replaced on the S when the wheels are mounted.

I basically made a hybrid Low Rider, Low Rider S and Wide Glide. The Harley Davidson emblem on the tanks are for a 2017 Wide Glide and the forward controls are the same as the Wide Glide forward controls.
If I do all the remove/install labor, How much should I expect to pay to have my LRS wheel powder coated black?

Thanks

If I recall correctly I thought it was going to be around $250.00 for the powder coating. I was told anytime you remove the wheels from a ABS bike the ABS bearings have to be replaced. I am not sure how much they cost.

Thats pretty cool. Your modded LRS looks a tiny bit like my 2015 Low Rider that I had before the S came out. I painted the tank all black because I hated the red lettering, and used that same WG medallion.

And now for the good news.

I picked up my '19 Low Rider a little while ago. After about 5 minutes, I had that smile on my face that I haven't had since selling my S. This softail frame is pretty damn good on a bike meant to handle. While I didn't push (only 52 miles by the time I got home) mostly because of brand new tires, even so, I'M BACK BABY! The 107 is surprisingly fast in this frame. I'm not winding the motor up too much, and maybe I got lucky with this motor, because it feels FAST. I can't wait to see how the Stage 3 114 feels.

Like I said. This afternoon has made all my regrets over the LRS go away.

Well, almost. Once I get rid of those horrendous handlebars (to me at least) and get some tall bars, then all will be good in my world.

Here she is in her bone stock silliness...

Congrats on the new scoot and I am glad it puts a smile on your face. Life is much to short to not ride with a smile.

I like it! I rode a sport glide recently and really liked it. (other than the horrible handle bars). I honestly loved how it ran, handled, and rode. The sport glide has a 2-1 pipe stock with the cat in the stock muffler. I could see getting a lot of miles out that bike with a slip in muffler and a good set of bars. The fairing worked surprisingly well, and the quick detach bags were VERY nice.

Anyway, congrats on your new ride!

I had every intention, however the new Low Rider seat is far and away the most comfortable HD stock seat my *** has ever addressed. That said, I’ve only got 52 miles on it. Time will tell. I still may want to move back a bit, so the dead bear* may yet return!

*Its an inside joke from my Dyna days...
