I'm confused. HD doesn't make a Daymaker for the new RGS. They may call it that but.

And one thing to consider with the LED H4 bulbs is the "light" is not coming from the same location as the standard bulb so the optics are off. It puts out more light than the standard bulb but it is being spread out more so there is less where you need it than a complete LED headlight.
It must be the kind of plastic. It sickens me to see darn near brand new cars and trucks on the road and the headlight lenses already cloudy and not worth a damn for putting light on the road at night. Who the hell came up with that idiocy and why would anyone pay such high dollars for it?

According to all the pictures I've seen of people putting up to show before and after between their stock halogen and the new 'full LED headlight' and just the bulb I use, I'm not seeing any difference. My bulb lights up the road and the sides of the road beautifully. The high beam actually all it does is light the left side of the road a little better (because of the lane space that's always there, to help see things on that side of the road better). Compared to a nice (overpriced) PIAA halogen bulb I tried, you couldn't pay me enough to go back to a halogen. Everything depends on the design of the reflector. The reflector on my '09 FXD sucked, even with the LED bulb...it had light all over the place, it was still lit better, but it still wasn't optimal. The reflector on this '98 FXD I now have, is a million times better than the one on the '09. I have no idea why, only the engineers with the math skills to figure that crap out could know, but as far as I'm concerned, somewhere between '98 and '09 they fixed what wasn't broke, heh.

Are the two smaller white lights on the bottom the CD lights? How difficult was it to install/wire up those bottom lights?

I've got the Sunpie amazon.com on mine, for about 2 years. It's not foggy, hit terrible rain storms couple times and is clear as a bell even after cleaning bugs 3-4 times yearly. WAY brighter than stock and cars don't flash me, so I assume I'm not blinding them.

Went from the trucklite to the Custom Dynamics pro beam. I was happy with the trucklite but the CD pro beam is worth every penny.

Thanks for this thread Shellback. Been wondering the same thing. Love my Crossbones but night riding in it with the small headlight is just treacherous Keep wondering about putting something new in but just haven't wanted to drop that amount of money for the Daymaker or something similar without first hand accounts and reviews.

Still hoping you will reply to this and the second time I am asking. There was another member almost 2 months ago with the same claim. Again, HD does not make a Daymaker for the new fairing Road Glides.

What I have here are CD headlight and Ringz directional. The lights you are questioning are spots I picked up from a vendor here on the forum. DK Customs.
