Is a plug really safe???I can see it on car tires, but on my Two Wheel, that might be scarey... After all I go sortaaaaa kindaaaaaaa...... FAST at times.....[sm=smarty.gif]

Providing it's pluggable, use a plug. If it were on a sportbike and towards the side, I'd say no....
On the other hand, if it's a tube, why can't the tube be pulled and plugged?

To all, especially if it's raining where you live....Yes I did arain dance last night.. If I can't ride then no one else should either....[sm=badbadbad.gif]The sad part, it didn't work, the weather is beautiful here in Illinois.....
Tubes???? Guess I will have to the owners manual out to see what sort of tire I have.... Or I can just wait until I take it in tomorrow. So many choices, so little time.....

A tube can be pulled and patched with a thin rubber patch and some rubber cement. A plug is a 3" fiber cord that gets looped on the end of a plug tool, coated with rubber cement and shoved halfway into the hole in the tire. It's used on tubless tires so that you Don't have to remove them. I plugged the rear tire on my Sporty twice and got another 3000 miles out it.
P.S. wire spoke wheels have tubes and aluminum wheels are tubeless.

Considering the husband of the girl I ride with got in an accident right outside of base yesterday and the fact it started raining cats and dogs just after I got a flat last night... Yeah, I think the higher power is telling me to stay off the streets.. Oh well, golf it is....
