totalmotorcycle.com would be a good place to compare Harleys as well
as other makes from 2019 down to 2000. All specs are listed between models.

And remember this; every Touring Harley will be around 800+ to 900+ lbs.
A lot of weight for 500 or so miles.

I suggest a Dyna Switchback like mentioned above.
Also, aHeritage Classic would be a good choice.

If you're shopping used and know you won't be touring look for an FXDL Dyna Low Rider. They're about 640 pounds dry but my 5'2" 115 pound wife handled hers like a pro when she had it.

Low Rider would fit your peramerters, but you should at least look at a Road King

I recommend that YOU figure out exactly what you are going to use the bike for. Then get a softail.
NFW a touring bike is called for. No reason at all to spend that kind of money.

I am going to agree with the people that have suggested to go to a demo day. You can try many different bikes in a short period of time. One more hint...the perceived weight can be very different from the actual weight. In other words, where the weight is carried on a bike can really alter how “heavy” the bike feels. When I was riding my FXR, I let both a good friend and a nephew ride my bike. My nephew rode a Kawasaki Ninja 600 and my friend rode a Honda VFR 800. Both of them couldn’t get over how much lighter my FXR felt and how easy it was to ride compared to theirs. The actual weights were all within 100 pounds, but the Harley’s perceived weight was much less.

Low Rider or Street Bob

A lot of women and short men like Softail Slim

I’m liking the Softail Classic as a nice weekend ride .
Www.NationalPowersports.net , Has some nice used bikes to see what the older bikes look like .

Question. I'm considering getting a Harley as a second bike. Thinking something in the neighborhood of 1200cc and ABS a must. Prefer buying used.

I've looked at both the Custom 1200 and the Fat Bob.

Any recommendations or advice?

Thanks in advance.
Well if you like touring, I'd suggest either the Sportster Superlow 1200T (instead of the Custom) or the Softail Heritage Special or a Switchback (Instead of the Fat Boy). Then sell your Vulcan 650 because you won't ride it anymore.

I bought a 1200 custom as my first bike. Easy to handle, don't notice the weight, but not the best on the road at seventy. My friend, an experienced rider, bought a 1200 superlow. Nice bike. Easier to handle and better on the road. I think if i had it do over i would have looked for one of them. Traded in the 1200 for a 19 fatboy s
