Cuba is like a time machine when it comes to vehicles!
Time may have stood still for Cuba but it has definitely taken its toll on the vehicles. With the climate, hurricanes and the salt air I'm sure most of them are rotted out junkers with engines and running gear from Russian or European vehicles. The decent looking ones are the same ones you see over and over again in magazines. I really don't believe there are boat loads of pristine, like new looking vehicles that have been driving around the island for over 60 years just waiting to be snapped up for cheap. I'm just sayin'.
Thanks for the replies.
It is certainly an interesting place to visit. We loved seeing all the old American cars, even though they were far from original under the skin.
Looks like a straight leg frame and they were only made two years 55 to 57
Idunno, you could be right but you'd be pretty good to tell that was a straight leg when the wishbone area is pretty much concealed by the tank and the shifter mount. I'm gonna stick with 49 maybe 50 'cuz of some of the other original looking parts. But who knows for sure. Not even the owner I'll bet.

Yea, it's hard to tell from just the pic's. Whatever it is i sure would like to have it. Most likely many different year parts make up that bike.
