Looking at buying a new (to me) bike, I had a 02 Nighttrain that I loved until a really bad accident totaled it, I healed and ended up a a 13 Roadglide until last summer when I had to sell it to pay some bills from a divorce and because the accident damage and resulting arthritis in my leg made the Roadie too heavy and painful to manuever at low speed, parking lots etc...Now I'm trying to decide on what to pick up, specifically between another Nighttrain, a wide glide, or maybe a fatboy, all are between 2002 and 2008 with one wideglide being a 2011 thats got 40k+ miles and needs a little help cosmetic wise, all are in the same ballpark money wise...Thoughts? Will I be happy on a wideglide versus a Nighttrain etc
I would recommend something from the Dyna family....great all around bikes....my favorite is the Super Glide Custom with forward controls, but Wide Glides are very nice, too.....not sure what your budget is, but you should be able to find a really nice nice Dyna for $5,000 - 7,000 ......good luck!
