Default HPI Horsepower Inc = AWESOME!!

I had a nightmare day and thanks to HPI it turned out great! Long story but these folks are the real deal and immensely wonderful people to work with!
It was a Sunday and I had an injector question so I had to wait until Monday to call them from work. I work in downtown Indianapolis. On the way to work Monday I hit a put hole so huge it instantly blew the Lt frt tire and cracked the frickin rim! I took the jack out and forgot to put it back in days earlier so I had to call my boss to bring a jack. On my way to work I notice the donut is low and pulling hard. Make it to work and at lunch I looked up HPI. I had no idea they were right there in Indy which was cool. They were very knowledgeable and even said they'd set out the injectors and 58mm throttle body for me if I wanted to come by. I left work early so I could hit a couple pull n pay junkyards to grab a couple used wheels since I had another bent/cracked/leaking rim from another pot hole issue. Get the donut aired up and hit the junkyards up for a couple wheels then I'm thinking if I can just make it to HIP and back home(1 hr away) I can change the wheels. I'll be damned if I wasn't a mile or so from HPI and hit another frickin pot hole!!! Get out to look and the donut is now bent and slowly leaking air. Screw it, HPI here I come! I'm coming down the road and see the HPI building and the steering is pulling HEAVY! I make it in the lot and go inside. I'm getting my bike **** whether I can get it home or not.

I was greeted by the owners wife Laura and she asked how my day was going. When I told her about the pot hole delema and the fact I didn't have a jack, she said "Oh let me get Jimmy up here, we got you covered". The owner came out and was cool as ****! Hooked me up with a jack and gave me a grand tour of the facility. Pretty damn neat facility and it's clean. Got a nice tour of the new dyno room and sound proofing and saw the bike week trailer and tent setup. It was neat to see a new product project they're working on, which I'm not letting that cat out of the bag, they will when they're ready. So I walked out with a new 58mm Max Flow throttle body, matched pair of 5.3 HPI injectors, and a new T shirt, and thankfully some damn tires that would get me and my HPI goodies home.

I can't wait to try out the throttle body so I have no comments on that yet but I can tell you these folks are a class act family operation. I'm happy as heck and can't recommend them enough.
If you're within driving distance stop in and see them, it's worth the busted rims from all the Indianapolis pot holes! Ha ha. But seriously, Indy is filling thousands of them right now. Good luck!
